GlobalX Innovation Joint Challenge: AI for Advancing Maritime Security

Inviting global companies, startups and academia with innovative AI solutions to address maritime security challenges.

 

The challenge has ended and all enquiries are now closed.

 

All submissions will be assessed by a panel comprising members from the Organisers, and based on the following criteria:

  • How innovative is the solution?
  • Can the solution address the challenge statements effectively?
  • Is the solution feasible and ready for implementation?
  • How easy is the solution able to scale for large-scale deployment in a cost-effective manner?
  • Has the solution been adopted commercially?

TIMELINE

Open for Applications

The application phase will start on 6th May 2025
and end on 23rd May 2025 at 5pm (GMT+8).

To Apply:

  • Register an account on the platform.
  • Select the challenge and statement to address.
  • Download and review the Conditions of Contract (CoC).
  • Complete the CoC annex proposal template and upload the completed proposal in .pdf format, along with supporting documents to complete your submission.

Note: As a guide, your CoC annex proposal should clearly state: How innovative and relevant is the solution to address the challenge statements.

  • How feasible is your tech solution for implementation.
  • How easy is the solution able to scale for large-scale deployment in a cost-effective manner.
  • Examples where the solution has been adopted commercially, if applicable.

You are welcome to submit more than one solution! You may also refer to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for more details.

Virtual Briefing Session

Join our briefing for the innovation challenge to engage directly with challenge owners, ask questions, and gain insights to enhance your proposal.

Shortlisting of Proposals

We will announce and invite shortlisted companies, startups and academia to a pitching session to present their proposals and address any queries from our evaluation panel.

Pitching Session

During the pitching session, participants will elaborate their solutions and clarify any queries from the evaluation panel.

Successful companies, startups and academia will be awarded and fully funded to perform proof-of-concept, experiment, or demonstration.
