Context
Deepfakes, AI-generated fakes and cheapfakes may be produced and disseminated at scale.
What We Are Looking For
Novel solutions that may reliably detect manipulated media. Examples include the following but not limited to:
- Deepfakes, face-swaps and lip-syncs within images / videos.
- Fully AI-generated images / videos / audio.
- AI or non-AI assisted inpainted images.
- Low-tech edits, such as splicing, copy-move and insertion of text in images / videos.
- Others to be proposed by the company.
Key Metrics
- True Positive Rate.
- True Negative Rate.
- Time taken to process and analyse the media.
Your Technology Solution Should Demonstrate
- Functionalities such as attributing location of manipulations (e.g. heatmaps, timestamp), manipulation techniques (e.g. lipsync), explain conclusions (e.g. mismatched lip movement), and provide source discovery of media origin, etc.
- Its technical readiness for deployment and requirements to integrate with our evaluation platform.
- How it keeps its detection capabilities up‑to‑date.
- Where applicable, a video demonstration of your solution.
What A Trial Looks Like
- We seek a one-month trial via SaaS (Software as a Service), secure API (Application Programming Interface), or on-premise with shortlisted companies for our internal evaluation at no cost to us.
- If successful, we seek to subscribe to your solution for one-year, including training and documentation.
[Note: Shortlisted companies may be required to sign a non-disclosure agreement, as we may provide datasets during the one-month trial to evaluate your solution's capability.]
What We Are Not Looking For
- Solutions requiring significant manual operator review.
- Solutions that only work on limited media types (e.g. passport photos).
Follow-on Implementation Cost
- Long-term pricing model.
- If applicable, cost for an on-prem solution.
